This is 1.5 hour first-aid training offers practical, confidence-boosting training that could make you the difference between panic and action in a real emergency. What's covered: perform CPR; use a defibrillator (AED) with confidence; spot and treat choking; deal with anaphylaxis and how to use an EpiPen; place someone in the recovery position. Learn the foundations of route setting and craft your very own climbs in this half-day workshop, taking place on Sunday 29th June from 10am-1pm. Create, test and tweak your climbs under the expert guidance of our setting team to produce a commercial set that will be open to the public! 2 hot drinks included to keep you fuelled throughout the day! Members get 20% off the set price. This event is for over 18s only.
The Peaks Maverick Run Club will guide us on a gentle 5km/45minute urban run, followed by free well-earned Tenzing to re-energise, before hitting the boulders. Run will be at a social pace suitable for all abilities - nobody left behind. Meet outside Substation at 6:15pm.
