Guided by one of our experienced coaches, this fun social is a great opportunity to project routes with new friends and pick-up tips from all experience levels. Run eveny Tuesday, 7:00pm - 8:30pm, this social is facilitated by one of our staff but is not a formal coaching session.
Learn the foundations of route setting and craft your very own climbs in this half-day workshop, taking place on Sunday 29th June from 10am-1pm. Create, test and tweak your climbs under the expert guidance of our setting team to produce a commercial set that will be open to the public! 2 hot drinks included to keep you fuelled throughout the day! Members get 20% off the set price. This event is for over 18s only.
The Peaks Maverick Run Club will guide us on a gentle 5km/45minute urban run, followed by free well-earned Tenzing to re-energise, before hitting the boulders. Run will be at a social pace suitable for all abilities - nobody left behind. Meet outside Substation at 6:15pm.
Can you find the 10 letters hidden behind coloured doors in the climbing area? Climb the walls to find the letters and unscramble them to reveal a secret message! This free easter activity is not facilitated by a member of staff. Complete the activity at your own pace and remember to supervise your child(ren) at all times.

Join us for a festive pub quiz on Thursday 12th December, 7pm in the cafe. Hosted by Jim the legend, expect all the usual pub quiz antics with some festive surprises. Team up in groups of maximum 6 people for your chance to win your bar tab on us. Members get a free glass of mulled wine or non-alcoholic hot drink. We have limited tables so be sure to book your table in advance and please cancel if you can no longer make it.
The BRIT ROCK FILM TOUR is back for 2024 with another stunning line-up of the UK’s best climbing and adventure films from the past year. Three exhilarating short films capturing an array of hardcore action, pioneering spirit and some proper madness will be showcased on the 23rd November, 7–9:30pm at Substation Macclesfield! Come and join us for an evening of inspirational climbing footage, beers and pizza!
